First Simple Tip for Weight Loss Success: Eat Protein with Every Meal.
Many years ago, I had success with Michael Thurmond’s 6 Week Body Makeover. I definitely saw results, but once I came off the plan, could not get back on it. But I did carry some things with me. One important tip was to eat protein with every meal. I believe this has been a real key in my weight loss success. With my main meals, I eat meat such as beef, turkey, and chicken, but with my snacks, I eat things such as Greek yogurt and almonds. This provides me with good energy and helps me feel satisfied.
Second Simple Tip for Weight Loss Success: Eat Often
The idea of eating more often came from the Michael Thurmond Six Week Body Makeover and I have heard it touted on various programs concerning weight loss. I always aim to eat five to six times a day and never want to go more than four hours at the most without eating.
I believe this has been a real key in stoking my metabolism. My body does not have to feel as if it is starving. It is free to go into the fat burning mode. I know this has been a key to my weight loss success.

Third Simple Tip for Weight Loss Success: Weigh Yourself Often
This is critical for my weight loss success. The pounds find a way of creeping up on me whenever I go for long periods without weighing myself. I make it a goal to weigh myself everyday. This helps keep me on track with my weight loss success.
I know that my weight will fluctuate some, but if I see I am up on a given day, it helps me to make better choices that day to compensate. I weigh myself first thing in the morning before I eat. I know I would not have had the weight loss success without regular weigh-ins.
Fourth Simple Tip for Weight Loss Success: Drink Plenty of Water.
Of course, we all have heard the benefits of drinking plenty of water and it really does need to be part of any plan for weight loss success. I aim for a minimum for 64 ounces a day, but from what I have heard from various sources, the body does well with taking your weight dividing it in half and drinking that amount in ounces. A person who weighs 200 pounds should aim for at least 100 ounces a day. On a recent Dr. Oz Show, he mentioned that it is good to drink additional water for every caffeinated beverage consumed. Water is pure goodness and is essential for weight loss success.
Fifth Simple Tip for Weight Loss Success: Set Small Reasonable Goals
Even though I wanted to lose weight fast, I decided to set small goals for my weight loss success. If I set larger goals and did not achieve them, I became discouraged. I set for myself a goal of two pounds in two months.
The nice thing about the goal was that I could feel fairly confident in reaching the goal and in most cases I would reach the goal early and I then just reset the goal. Having small reasonable goals has led me to achieve real weigh loss success.
