3 Simple Steps to Lose Weight:
1. Increase your fiber intake:
Heard it before haven’t you? All the foods high in fiber seem to be disgusting and weird to eat while the supplements that have fiber are all nasty shakes. Don’t worry there is a solution, and its called Fiber One. Fiber one is cereal that you can purchase at any major grocery store.
The cereal pieces are almost like sprinkles, except a little bigger, and they’re semi sweet. Simply sprinkle this on any food you eat to make it sweeter, and get your extra fiber!
2. Pick the best worst option:
Your hanging out with your friends and everyone’s hungry, so they decide to go to Taco Bell. Taco Bell isn’t the best place to eat, but it doesn’t have to be that bad either.
They have healthier options on the menu such as opting for chicken rather than the greasier beef as well as the option to get items “Fresco” style. “Fresco” style just means they replace cheese and all that with a pico de guillo type mix of tomatoes, onions, and peppers. You should use this philosophy when eating everywhere, since it will let you have fun while staying as healthy as possible.
3. Don’t watch commercials:
That’s right, I don’t want you watching any commercials. I want you to do some sort of exercise while the commercials are on. A few suggestions are running outside to your mailbox and back as fast as possible, doing 10 sit-ups or crunches, or doing 10 push ups.
Another exercise I find really works the stomach muscles is the plank, side plank, or leg raises. I once gained 20 extra pounds in a summer, and that fall I replace my recliner with an exercise bike. By winter time, I had lost that extra 20 pounds, and even started carving out a nice six pack.
